The Descent into the Sewers

After Henry Bowers's attack, the four remaining Losers—Bill, Beverly, Ben, and Richie—decide to go into the sewers to confront It. They leave Eddie's body behind and head to the Barrens. They find the pumping station where they entered as children and descend into the darkness. Bill finds Audra's purse and wedding ring, confirming that she has been taken by It. The group navigates the tunnels, guided by their memories and Eddie's sense of direction. They encounter the Crawling Eye, which they defeat with Eddie's aspirator. They finally reach the door to It's lair, marked with a symbol that each sees differently.
