The Apocalyptic Rockfight

Henry Bowers and his gang chase Mike Hanlon into the Barrens. Mike, a black boy who attends a different school, is cornered by Henry, Victor Criss, and Belch Huggins. The Losers' Club, now including Mike, defends him in a fierce rockfight. Bill Denbrough leads the charge, and the Losers drive Henry and his gang out of the Barrens. The victory cements the Losers' bond and establishes the Barrens as their territory. Mike joins the club, completing the group of seven. The rockfight is a turning point, marking the Losers' first collective stand against their tormentors.
