The Destruction of Derry

As the Losers battle It, a supernatural storm ravages Derry. The Standpipe collapses, sending a tidal wave of water through the town. Downtown Derry caves in as the Canal's supports fail, swallowing buildings and streets. The storm kills dozens and causes widespread destruction. The Losers emerge from the sewers into the ruined city, finding Audra alive but catatonic. They are hailed as survivors. The storm ends abruptly, and the sun comes out. The destruction marks the end of It's influence on Derry, and the town begins a slow decline.
