Jane Reunites with Rochester at Ferndean

Jane travels to Ferndean Manor and finds Mr. Rochester, now blind and crippled, living in seclusion. She reveals herself to him, and their reunion is deeply emotional. Rochester, at first unable to believe she is real, is overwhelmed with joy. Jane tells him she is now an independent woman with a fortune. She declares her love for him and her desire to be with him forever. This reunion is the culmination of their love story, a triumph of the spirit over adversity.
