Miss Temple Clears Jane's Name

Miss Temple, having written to Mr. Lloyd to verify Jane's story, assembles the school and publicly declares Jane innocent of the charges of deceit. Jane is exonerated and accepted by her peers. That evening, Miss Temple invites Jane and Helen to her room for tea and seed-cake, creating a warm and intellectual atmosphere. This event restores Jane's reputation and strengthens her trust in Miss Temple, marking the beginning of her happier and more successful years at Lowood.
