Adam's Stroke and Final Blessing

Adam Trask suffers a severe stroke upon learning of Aron's death. He is bedridden, partially paralyzed, and his mind is clouded. Lee, Cal, and Abra gather at his bedside. Lee, understanding the depth of Cal's guilt, begs Adam to give Cal his blessing. With great effort, Adam whispers the word 'Timshel,' affirming Cal's freedom to choose his own path. He then falls into a peaceful sleep.
