Cathy Runs Away

Cathy refuses to go to school and tells her parents she is going to run away. Her father whips her, but she feigns repentance. After a period of apparent reform, during which she helps her mother and shows interest in her father's business, she sets fire to the family home, killing her parents. She then escapes with stolen money, leaving behind a scene that suggests she was murdered by a vagrant.
