Jekyll's Dinner Party

Dr. Jekyll hosts a dinner for several old friends, including Mr. Utterson. After the other guests leave, Utterson stays behind to discuss Jekyll's will and his association with Hyde. Jekyll becomes pale and agitated, insisting that the matter is private and that he can be rid of Hyde whenever he chooses. He makes Utterson promise to help Hyde and secure his rights if Jekyll is taken away. Utterson reluctantly agrees, though he confesses he will never like Hyde.
