Utterson Haunts the By-Street
Consumed by curiosity and concern, Mr. Utterson begins to regularly patrol the by-street where the mysterious door is located, hoping to catch a glimpse of Edward Hyde. He spends many hours there, at all times of day and night, determined to see the man who has so disturbed his peace. His patience is eventually rewarded one fine, dry night when he hears an odd, light footstep approaching.
