Meeting with the Wizard at Colwen Grounds

The Wizard, traveling in disguise, meets with Elphaba at Colwen Grounds. He reveals that he knows about the Grimmerie and wants it. He also shows her Nor, who is now his prisoner, as a bargaining chip. He tells her that Sarima and her family are dead. Elphaba is horrified and refuses to give him the book. The meeting is a confrontation between two opposing wills. The Wizard reveals his true nature as a manipulative and ruthless dictator. Elphaba leaves the meeting more determined than ever to resist him, but also more aware of her own powerlessness.
