Battle with Pendor dragons

Ged decides to confront the dragons of Pendor before leaving. He sails to the dead isle and summons the dragon. He kills five young dragons with binding spells. The sixth, larger, attacks with fire, and Ged transforms himself into a dragon to fight it. He defeats it, but it escapes. Finally, the great Old Dragon of Pendor, Yevaud, appears. Ged is awed by its size and power. He knows he cannot defeat it in a direct fight, so he uses his knowledge of names.
