Flight to Osskil

Unable to go to Roke, Ged takes a ship to Orrimy on Hosk. There, a stranger in grey tells him to go to the Court of the Terrenon in Osskil to find a weapon against the shadow. Desperate and uncertain, Ged takes passage on an Osskilian galley as an oarsman. The voyage is harsh, and he is among dour, suspicious men. One of them, Skiorh, seems to be possessed by the shadow. Ged avoids him, but the shadow is drawing closer. He is being lured northward, into a trap.
