Transformation into a hawk

Ged, in the form of a pilgrim falcon, flies eastward over the Osskil Sea. He is driven by rage and the need to escape. He flies for days, passing over Enlad and Oranéa, his mind slowly becoming one with the falcon's. He forgets his own thoughts and knows only hunger, the wind, and the way he flies. He is losing himself in the animal form, a great peril for a wizard. His instinct guides him home to Gont, where he lands on the wrist of Ogion, who is standing by a spring.
