Major Major Forges Signatures

To alleviate his boredom and frustration, Major Major begins forging the name 'Washington Irving' on official documents. He finds it liberating, and the forged documents never come back. His secret is eventually discovered by C.I.D. men, but he escapes detection by lying. The forgery is a small, private act of rebellion against the meaningless bureaucracy that has trapped him.
