The Soldier Who Saw Everything Twice

Yossarian, trying to avoid flying more missions, feigns a liver condition in the hospital. When he is about to be discharged, he pretends to see everything twice, like another patient. He is quarantined with the other soldier, who later dies. Yossarian then claims to see everything once, and the doctors, believing they have cured him, discharge him.
