The Glorious Loyalty Oath Crusade

Captain Black, embittered by not being made squadron commander, launches the Glorious Loyalty Oath Crusade. He forces everyone to sign multiple loyalty oaths for everything from map cases to haircuts, creating a bureaucratic nightmare. The crusade is a power trip, designed to harass and humiliate. It ends when Major -- de Coverley returns from Rome, walks into the mess hall, and simply demands to be fed, causing the entire system to collapse. The episode satirizes the absurdity of patriotism and the ease with which authority can be manipulated.
